WASFAA is pleased to offer to our membership scholarships. Each scholarship provides a free registration. Scholarship winners are responsible for current WASFAA membership dues.
WASFAA has two different scholarships, the Sister Dale Brown Summer Institute Ethnic Diversity (EDAC) Scholarship and the Sister Dale Brown Summer Institute General Scholarship. The purpose for both scholarships is to provide access to attend and participate in hands-on Financial Aid 101 training opportunities beyond those at the state conferences.
The deadline for both of these scholarships is April 04, 2018.

The conference provides the attendee with an excellent training opportunity and a venue to assist in building a strong network of colleagues within the financial aid profession. Summer Institute is a 5 day training on financial aid administration. Three tracks are available: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Each track will receive specialized training from NASFAA University and WASFAA created curriculum. Using the NASFAA University materials allow each participate that graduates from SDBSI to credential in provided topics at no additional cost. In addition to training sessions, participate will work on case studies and network in small groups lead by our experienced faculty.

WASFAA Award Nominations
One of the most rewarding functions of the WASFAA Executive Council is recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the financial aid profession, your state associations, and to WASFAA.
The WASFAA awards committee requests that you take a moment or two and nominate an individual or individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the financial aid profession, your state association or to WASFAA.
Nominations may be submitted at any time however, annually a deadline of February 14 exists to prepare for the upcoming conference, when the awards are announced and distributed.
